German WWII Painted Fuse Box-This fuse box is painted ordinance green, and is made of stamped steel. It measures 5 inches (12cm) wide, 3 inches (7.62cm). It stands 2 inches(5.08cm) deep. Someone has painted on the top of this box, there are two scrolls that contain the territories of both “Wurttemberg” and “Esslingen”. On each side are the coat of arms for both historic areas. This handpainted cover is still bright and colorful. It an interesting contrast of the historic territories of imperial Germany on a WW2 fuse box. A neat piece of art.
