Veteran Bring Back German WWII 6x30 Field Binoculars-This set of German binoculars sits in an American made brown leather case. These binoculars have good optics. They are well marked including the maker code which is bmk. These are complete with a shoulder strap. These glasses are standard military issue (Dienstglas) made by Srb & Stys Fabrik Praziser Messinstrumente in Prague, Czechoslovakia. This company was well known for their good optics. This pair features the cold-weather markings "KF". Please be aware that there is a crack in the right lens, so it’s cloudy. The left lens is very good. This set sits in a brown leather covered pressboard case that is unmarked, but is not German made. It is of the period, and very well made. The reverse belt strap is in place, and the strap to close the lid still snaps correctly. This set has been in this case for a very long time. You can tell by the impressions on the inside of the case. This pair of binoculars was brought home by a US veteran, we will make sure to supply the buyer with the name of this soldier. This set is in good shape, but again, be aware of the right lens being cracked.
