WWII French Made Goggles Used by Luftwaffe Pilots-Although these are French made goggles, the German goggles were in such short supply that Luftwaffe pilots and air crew often used these French made lenses. These are in excellent condition. These are very similar in style to the Luftwaffe Model 306 aviators goggles, these have the same basic profile and a similar metal adjustment bar between the lenses. German lenses were so hard to obtain, that they obtained these French goggles from other sources. These still have bright metal frames. They lenses are yellow tinted. The lenses remain unscratched, and they are marked at the top with the word “non flammable” in French. The white pads are still in full form and supple. The have discolored some from age and storage. These pads are each marked but  The gray canvas adjustment strap is discolored, but is in good condition. These are excellent. They include their original olive green, steel storage can. This retains nearly all of its original finish. It too is excellent. What an interesting set of goggles. If you do a deep dive on the internet, you can find photos of Luftwaffe pilots wearing this type of lens. Pretty neat!
