WWII German First Aid Kit w/Post War Czech Contents-This is a large, steel first aid kit that is painted in a tropical tan paint. Actually, on the top retains the original paint, someone has repainted the rest of the box in a similar though not matching tan color. The original script on the top of the lid reads “Verbandkasten”. Someone has also adhered new labels to the underside of the lid, these are instructions for using the contents, such as bandages, etc. The two inside labels are written in Czech, as are the labels on the bandages, and other items inside. The new labels are dated 1983. But the box is original, and in very good condition. This would make a very interesting display item.
