German WWII Early Brown Shirt SA Buckle

German WWII Early Brown Shirt SA Buckle-This is a handsome early one-piece belt buckle. This one is constructed in brass with a stamped brass roundel. This would be worn by someone in the SA or could even be worn by someone in the NSKK (National Socialist Motor Corps) though typically their rondels were the silver option. This example has a plain field, with a stamped eagle with outstretched wings. The eagle is clutching a "mobile” swastika. There is some slight wear, as you can see the details to the chest feathers of the eagle are smoothed, but the other details are still strong. This is an unmarked example as it should be. Please be sure to look at the reverse, there was a label affixed to the reverse, just near the catch. This can be removed, though we will leave that up to you should you decide to do it. There is some verdigris on the back, near the foot of the catch, but this is not a distraction. The reverse has a u-shaped catch and nickel-plated steel roll bar and prongs. Overall, a desirable offering!
