Veteran Bring Back German WWII 1st Model Third Reich Penal Administrator’s Buckle- This is a scarce unmarked example of a penal administrator’s belt buckle, made of brass. Has lost its gold gilted finish and has a gorgeous dark bronze tone. It shows a high relief, embossed eagle and wreath. The pebbling surrounding the eagle is in great shape, there is minor wear to the chest of the eagle. Overall, this buckle is in great condition. The reverse has lost its nickel plating. Please be aware that someone has glued the keepers in place, probably for display purposes, but we are unclear why they would do this. Please be sure to look at the photos to see the glue. This is too bad, since this buckle is in very good condition otherwise. We purchased this buckle from the family of a veteran who brought it home. We will supply the name of this soldier to the buyer.
