Veteran Bring Back German WWII 1st Pattern Third Reich Penal Belt Buckle-This would be worn by a high official in the penal administration. This is made of a gilted brass. It shows a pebbled central field with a national eagle holding a sword. There are great details to the swastika on the eagle’s chest and sword, as well as on the highly detailed wreath that surrounds the eagle. The design of this buckle was very similar to the justice leader’s type one buckle, except this is gold. The fixed catch is also gilt finished brass. This is excellent. There is one spot of verdigris on the reverse, but this is not a distraction. These are beautiful buckles and this one is no exception. We purchased this buckle from the family of a veteran who brought it home. We will supply the name of this soldier to the buyer.
