German WWII Hitler Youth Buckle-This is a early nickel plated HJ buckle. It is nicely marked M4/44 for Paul Kramer, & Co. A beautiful very early Hitler Youth buckle, which on the front reads “Blut und Ehre” (Blood and Honor) above an eagle clutching a Hitler youth diamond. The details are great but please be aware there is cloth stuck to a few small portions of the reverse, almost as if this buckle was on a belt, and they were stored together for a long time. We have not attempted to clean this up. The obverse of this buckle does show moderate wear to the eagle and diamond. You can see the finish loss and wear to the high points. This is still a fine-looking buckle.
