Third Reich Deutsches Frauenwerke Membership Pin-This triangular shaped membership pin was for the Women’s Association that was created in 1933. This association was the early version of the Frauenschaft. This organization served as a means to bring existing women’s organization in line with the party principles, focusing on the role of housewives, and mothers. It has a black enamel front with a sonnenrad/odalrune motif. The script at the top reads “Deutsches Frauenwerke” in red. This shows only slight wear, though there is some enamel loss at the top of the obverse. This badge measures 33mm by 30mm wide. This medal has a vertical pin. The reverse is RZM marked with M1/102, indicating it was produced by Frank & Reif of Stuttgart. Very good condition overall!
