DLV/NSFK Kepi, Named-This is a very high quality private purchase example in near excellent condition. The blue grey wool body is very soft and clean, with minor wear and a small hole on the back of the top panel. The top panel stiffening ring was removed by the owner. The top panel as well as the scallop are piped in yellow. Each side has a pair of enameled ventilation grommets. It has a small bill that is also produced in blue grey wool. The eagle is nickel silver over tombak with most of the finish intact and minor toning. There is a single button at the front, silver finished pebbled metal. There is a black patent leather chinstrap that is in fine condition. The interior is fully lined in grey green rayon that is excellent. There is a diamond shaped moisture shield that is fully intact. There is an eagle logo and the script “Beste Deutsche Leistung”. There is a name tag inside with script that is hard to read. The sweatband is brown leather and in fine condition, remaining very soft and supple. The kepi is a size 56. Very good condition!
