German WWII Army Panzer M34 Style Side Cap-This cap is in near excellent condition. It is made of an olive green, high quality wool that is near excellent with no mothing or significant wear seen at all. There are two green air vent grommets seen on the sides. The front of the cap has a pink soutache. The machine woven insignia on the front, is hand applied. The army eagle is white over green badge cloth, and the cockade is red/black/white over the same. The interior is fully lined in a matching green rayon. This lining is in very good condition and very well marked. Inside you can see the black stamped maker’s name, Naumann of Munchen, as well as the date 1943, and 57 for the size. It is very interesting that this is a late example, 1943, that still shows a waffenfarbe near the maker’s name. This is a terrific example of a panzer side cap in near excellent condition.
