WWII German Army Medical Corps Other Ranks Visor Cap-This great example is produced in tricot woven, field gray wool in a classic tellar shape. It is super clean and has only the slightest hint of wear. The dark blue medical corps piping is mostly intact with a few extremely tiny moth nips to the bottom piping. The center band is dark green badge cloth. The insignia consists of an aluminum eagle and wreath with most of the original silver finish along with a nickel silver cockade with a red felt bulls eye. The chinstrap is black patent leather and fully intact. The visor is black vulkanfibre with minor crazing. The underside is crosshatched and finished in an orange brown hue. The interior is fully lined in orange brown cloth. It has minor wear and discoloration from use. The moisture shield is rhomboid shaped and all there but with a few tears. The size is stamped underneath, 56. The sweatband is orange brown leather. It is soft but worn and is missing a few small sections. Overall very nice!
