WWII German Army Model 1938 Side Cap for Other Ranks Personnel-This great example is produced in field grey wool that is excellent aside from one very small hole in the left side by the back. The scallops are attached to the sides of the cap. Each side has a single green enamel ventilation grommet. This example has an early white over grey army eagle with a matching cockade. It has a red soutache for artillery (flak) personnel. The interior is fully lined in brownish green cotton that is excellent. The interior is very well marked with maker info. It is also size stamped 57 and dated 1938. Excellent!
