WWII German Luftwaffe Artillery Visor Cap for “Other Ranks” Personnel-This is produced in a soft blue grey wool that is excellent, having just light wear. The red piping is fully intact and excellent. This cap is in great shape. The insignia is shiny aluminum and retains a majority of the finish. The center band is ribbed black cloth. There is a black patent leather chinstrap that is excellent. The visor is black leather and it is also excellent. The interior is fully lined in pumpkin orange rayon that is in fine condition. There is a partial rhomboid shaped moisture shield. The maker’s information is clearly visible on the shield. There is a tan ersatz leather sweatband that is in very good condition. It is stiff but still fully intact and clean. I carefully lifted it up to see if I could catch a glimpse of any markings and did not see any. The cap is a size 55 ½. This is a choice example overall!
