Conway-This hardcover, large format book is a history of US Flyers’ jackets from World War I to Desert Storm. This book not only shows the types worn but focuses primarily on the artwork applied to the jackets. The most colorful and creative period for flight jacket art was World War II, and it is this era that comprises a major portion of this book. This was printed in 1994 by the Schiffer Military. It contains 247 pages, including 1000 color photographs. It measures 9 ½ inches (24.13cm) wide, and 12 ½ inches (31.75cm) tall. This is a large book. It comes with a dustcover that does show some damage to the spine, and edges. The book itself is in very good condition. There is a small address label of the previous owner on one of the inside pages. But other than this label, the book is very clean and in near excellent condition.
