DRL Membership Book for German Football Club-This is for a member of the German Football Club “Karsau”. SV Karsau still exists to this day and is a German football club based in Rheinfelden, Germany. The club was founded in 1923 and plays its home games at a sports ground in the Karsau district of Rheinfelden. The outer hard cover of this membership book has the DRL logo and the script Deutscher Reichsbund für Leibesübungen or German League of the Reich for Physical Exercise. Inside is a “player pass’ for Fritz Bär, born 10.10.14 in Karsau. There are ink stamps for the football club. Of course, for us here in the US this is a soccer team. The pass is dated 1.9.1937 and includes a photo of Bär. There are dues stamps on one page and a page titled Spielberechtigung or “eligibility to play”. The book is in good condition and it is very interesting!
