Early, Named WWII German Army Field Tunic for Infantry Officer-This is an interesting uniform that appears to have been worn as a parade tunic. The pleated pockets and collar tabs were machine applied while the officer breast eagle was professionally applied by the tailor during the period. The reverse of the tunic still has the original parade buttons in place. There is an eight-button closure. All buttons are green finished pebbled metal. The collar is dark green badge cloth. There are French cuffs. The tabs have a single pip plus "34" ciphers indicating that the owner was an oberleutnant of the 34th Infantry Regiment. There are loops for three awards on the left breast pocket. Also seen is a small ribbon bar on loops. The tunic is produced in smooth green wool that is in excellent condition. There is only very minor wear and discoloration from use. The interior is fully lined in green rayon. There is a pocket on the left side. The tailor tag has been removed. The owners name, "Kreisel", is seen written above the pocket. There is a strap for an edged weapon with a plated metal snap clip.  It is a size medium. A very interesting and unique uniform!

Please note that any "accessories" (i.e. medals, badges, belts etc.) are NOT included unless stated in description!
