German WWII 2nd Model Political Leaders Gorget-This large gorget has a bronze finish that remains 99% intact. The separately applied eagle remains firmly attached. The finish to the eagle is fully intact and the details are stunning. The reverse is lined in olive brown badge cloth which has minor discoloration, slight wear, and several small holes. The complete chain with alternating swastikas and eagles is RZM marked M1/17 for Assmann. The gorget clip is RZM marked M5/8 which is also the mark for the maker Assmann. One stud has been replaced, but otherwise this would be excellent.
