German WWII NSFK/DLV Man’s Buckle-This is an early example of an NSFK buckle, it is identical to the ones worn by the SA, but this one would be worn by someone in the flying unit of the NSDAP. This is a textbook, one piece, nickel silver example. It shows the correct pebbled field and is finished in nickel. It does show slight wear. You can see some smoothing to the eagle’s chest feathers. Overall, the details on the raised wreath are very good. Note the tilted swastika in the eagle’s talons, this is rotated at a 45 degree angle. This would be worn with a black leather belt. Keeper and catch are in place. This pattern was discontinued after the introduction of the open claw buckle. This is a desirable buckle.
