German WWII Signed Photo of Knight’s Cross Winner Prince Friedrich Ferdinand of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg-Yes, he’s a real prince. Friedrich was born on May 14th, 1913, was a royal who served as a Major in the German Wehrmacht during the war. He was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. He is also known for his post-war business ventures in real estate, coffee shops, and his role in managing the family's Grünholz estate. This card is signed and dated 1975 on the reverse. It measures 5 inches (12.7cm) tall by 3 ½ inches (8.89cm) wide. This photo may be from a postcard, as it seems to be printed on a heavier cardstock. In very good condition.
