German WWII WHW Winter Relief Work Pinback-This is a very interesting pin, and one we have not encountered very often. The WHW or Winterhilfswerk des Deutschen Volkes (English: Winter Relief of the German People), was an annual donation drive by the National Socialist People's Welfare. They raised money for widows and children. This type of pin would have been presented to anyone who made a donation, or worked for the organization. This is in very good condition, the pin works as it should.
