Lot of 3 Göring Biographies, 2 Hardcover and 1 Softcover-Each of these books being offered has great reviews on Goodreads! This first hardcover is called The Reich Marshal: A biography of Hermann Goering by Leonard Mosley. This hardcover is a first edition, printed in 1974 by Doubleday. Leonard Mosley was an accomplished journalist and biographer with a long list of books to his credit. Reading the reviews of this book, here is the summary. In this biography of Göring, Mosley offers a quite readable and entertaining biography of Hitler's onetime deputy. This isn't a scholarly work along the lines of the biographies of other personalities such as Ian Kershaw has done for Hitler, Peter Padfield for Himmler or Ralf Reuth for Goebbels. Don't look for meticulous endnotes or deep analysis. That isn't because Mosely didn't use sources. He did and he lists them at the end. He gives a full-length portrait of Göring the man as he was in real life--bigger than life, that was Göring. This book contains 394 pages. The dustcover has some edge damage, but other than that the book is in very good condition. There is a price written in ink inside the hardcover, but despite this the book is very clean. Someone used this book for reference as I had to remove about 15 bookmarks, but there were no notes written in the book itself.

The second hardcover book is Goering A Biography by Roger Manvell and Heinrich Fraenkel. The authors used interviews with family members, associates, enemies, and servants to create a comprehensive and intimate portrayal of Göring. This book is a first edition, dated 1962. It contains 442 pages.

The third softcover book being offered is the Ballantines Illustrated History of the Vilolent Centure, Book no 8 which features Göring. This is a complementary photo essay written by the same authors, Manvell and Fraenkel. This paperback contains 160 pages and was printed in 1964. The front cover has age faded, but the rest of the book is in very good condition, clean and very readable. An interesting lot for an interesting commander.
