Splasher Six 1980-1989-The "Splasher Six" newsletter, published by the 100th Bomb Group Foundation, features stories from the 100th Bomb Group during World War II and post-war. It includes accounts of missions, memorable events, and the lives of the men who served, with a focus on the period from 1980 to 1989. This newsletter was named Splasher Six after a beacon that guided the men home in their B52s. This hardcover book is a rare find. This book is a large compendium of stories, black and white photos and illustrations. It is a very special collection and an honor to these brave men who flew in this bombing group. They flew their first combat mission on June 25, 1943, and their last on April 20, 1945, participating in 8,630 missions. This book is in very good condition and is a treat to read.
