WWII German Luftwaffe Pilot's Badge by Juncker from Tim Calvert Collection-This is another very nice example of the German pilots’ badge! It features a beautifully toned finish that remains mostly intact. The lowest details of the eagle have darkened, and the highest details of the wreath look frosted, giving this a gorgeous look. The eagle is firmly attached to the wreath with two prongs on the eagle’s wreath. You can clearly see this on the reverse. There is a round barrel type hinge, round needle pin and a round wire catch, all functioning as intended. The back of the eagle is stamped with the maker motto of C.E. Juncker Berlin. A beautiful example of this pilot’s badge!
