German Imperial Regimental Pipe-What a beautiful piece this is! It is one of a kind of course. It is for a reserve battalion and is dated 1906-08. There are multiple names on the bronze colored middle piece. This is produced in a few different types of wood including cherry. There is also a piece of horn at the top (USA SALES ONLY, SORRY!). There is a central porcelain section which is very colorful showing a soldier with the script “Parole Heimath”. There is a leather hose with a wooden top mouth section. There are red/white/black tassels. The porcelain bowl is beautiful! It is extremely colorful. There is script that translates to “Brothers, raise the glasses, long live the reserves!”. The bowl has a metal pickelhaube type helmet which is hinged and this is where the tobacco would go. It measures 21” long, with the hose/mouthpiece measuring another 12”. The wooden piece at the bottom screws onto the main pipe. It also has a hole for the porcelain bowl. This measures 8 ½”. A unique and amazing item!
