German WWII White Enameled Sign-This is a large sign that is made of steel and has a white enamel overcoat. It has gothic script in black that reads “Wohnung des Beigeordneten” or “Apartment of the (Nazi Party) Deputy”. This plaque was affixed to the facade of the house of the 1st Assistant to the Mayor. It measures 13 inches wide by 19 ½ inches in length. There are holes in each corner for hanging. This is interesting as it appears to have been re-enameled at one point during The Third Reich. You can see the enamel and white paint repairs when you look closely at the photos. Overall, good condition.
