Lifesize Bronze of Adolf Hitler-I have not had anything like this to offer you for a very long time. This is a spectacular example standing a total of approximately 15 3/4" including the 2 3/4" marble base. The head itself is approximately 13" which is referred to as lifesize. The bronze likeness is one of the best I've ever handled and was done by Ferdinand Liebermann (1883-1941). He was a German sculptor. who was educated at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. During the Third Reich he received numerous state commissions and served as artistic adviser to the city council of Munich. He sculpted numerous portrait busts of Hitler, including one for the Munich Rathaus. His work was thought to be the favorite of Hitler. Just look at the photos and I think you will agree. It is flawless and sits on a beautiful rectangle striped pink marble base. The sculptor's name is quite prominent on the base of the back of the neck.
