Third Reich Luftschutz Police Model 1935 Double Decal Combat Helmet-This is a scarcely found type. It is smoothly finished in a Luftschutz blue hue that remains 80% intact with a few small scuffs. The left side has a bordered police decal that is 85% intact. The right side has a party shield that is 90% intact. There is an ersatz leather liner. It is a bit dry and has scuffing, wear and discoloration. There is a drawstring and it remains fairly tightly attached to the shell. There is a name, Keller, written onto the liner as well as on the rear skirt. The side of the interior is stamped N.S. 64, indicating production by Nickelwerke of Schwerte in the size of 64. The rear skirt is stamped with the lot number D 250. These should be considered quite rare!
