Third Reich Model 1934 Early Fire Police Helmet-This steel example retains 90%+ of its satin black finish on the square dip style shell. The early examples like this one did not have decals. are two separate groups of seven, "salt & pepper" ventilation holes positioned on each side of the crown. There is an aluminum comb fixed to the top of the shell. The interior skirt stamped “A” and “DRP THALE” in the rear. The liner is ersatz leather, a bit stiff but overall nice with minor wear and discoloration only. It is size stamped 54. There is a drawstring and a dome pad. The original chinstrap is included and stiff as well. The buckle is marked Tuck Tite and these were made here in the US. This example even included the original black leather neck flaps. This is also stiff but fully intact. A very good example!
