WWII German Luftwaffe Model 1935 Double Decal Combat Helmet-This example has a blue gray parade finish that remains mostly intact. This is a double decal parade example. The Luftwaffe decal is in very good condition, checking in at 80% intact. The tri color shield is also in good condition and about the same isremaining. Inside is a size stamped 53 brown leather liner that remains very soft and supple but does show some minor wear, scuffing and discoloration. There is a drawstring and a reinforced aluminum liner band that is maker marked, dated 1939 and size stamped 60/53. The side of the interior is stamped SE 60. indicating production by Sachsische Emaillerwerke in the size of 60. The rear skirt is stamped with the lot number 4202 indicating production some time in 1939. An overall very good example!
