WWII German Luftwaffe Model 1935 Reissue Single Decal Combat Helmet, Named-This example has a blue gray parade finish that remains mostly intact. This example started life as a parade helmet with two decals but was reissued for use during the war and is now a single decal example. The Luftwaffe decal is in very good condition, lightly toned and checking in at 80% intact. Inside is a brown leather liner that remains very soft and supple but does show some minor wear, scuffing and discoloration. There is a drawstring and a zinc liner band. It is size stamped 56. The side of the interior is stamped Q 64, indicating production by Quist in the size of 64. The rear skirt is stamped with the lot number DN 221. The soldier wrote his name and rank on the rear skirt as well, O.Gfr.Weißwange. An overall very good example!
