WWII German Luftwaffe Model 1940 Single Decal Combat Helmet-This example has a blue gray combat finish that remains 85% intact overall. The Luftwaffe decal is a very nice example, checking in at 85% intact. Inside is a brown leather liner that remains very soft and supple but does show some minor wear, scuffing and discoloration. There is a drawstring and a zinc liner band. It is size stamped 57. The side of the interior is stamped SE 64, indicating production by Sachsische Emaillerwerke in the size of 64. The rear skirt is stamped with the lot number 10396. An overall very good example!
