WWII German Luftwaffe Model 1940 Single Decal Helmet-This handsome lid has a blue grey combat finish that remains 85% intact overall. The Luftwaffe decal on the left side checks in at 80%. Inside, the size stamped 57 leather liner has some minor wear and discoloration but remains quite soft and supple. There is a zinc liner band and a drawstring. The side of the interior is stamped ET 64 indicating production by Eisenhuttenwerke in the size of 64. The rear skirt is stamped with the lot number 298. There is a brown leather chinstrap as well. It is quite worn and has shrunk a bit but it is original. A near excellent example!
