WWII German Wehrmacht Model 1942 Combat Helmet-This is a late war example which never had a decal. It is finished in a field grey combat paint, rough texture and remaining 70% intact. Inside, the size stamped 58 liner is very worn, stained and scuffed. There is a small section missing where most of the heavy staining is located. There is a drawstring and a zinc liner band. The rear skirt is stamped NS 66, indicating production by Nickelwerke of Schwerte in the size of 66. The rear skirt is also stamped with the lot number D 452. A true combat helmet!
