WWII US M1 Helmet for use by Navy Personnel-This is a scarce and desirable navy example with a shipboard gray finish on both the shell and the liner. The shell does have some stress cracks. The finish is mostly intact. It is a front seam, fixed bale example. The olive drab chinstrap is worn and dirty and it has steel hardware. The interior is the original greenish gray finish. The Firestone liner has the same gray finish. It has a few small nicks and a few small cracks. There is heavy wear and discoloration to the interior but it is all there. That is except for the chinstrap which is only partially intact. A desirable example!
