Third Reich Schutzpolizei NCO Combat Tunic-This is in the model 1940 style and it is produced in blue green heavy cotton. There is minor wear, minor discoloration, fading and a few small pulls. The area behind the collar in the neck area is very worn. There are four pockets with scalloped flaps. The breast pockets are pleated and the hip pockets are internal. There is a four button closure and all buttons are silver finished pebbled metal. The hand applied collar tabs are green badge cloth with tresse columns and green litzen. The sew in shoulder boards have a brown cloth face with silver flat wire around all but the lower edge. The flat wire has brown cloth V’s throughout. This is over a green badge cloth backing that doubles as the piping. The left sleeve has a silvery grey police eagle sleeve patch, this is over blue grey badge cloth. All of the insignia is collector reapplied. The rank is wachmeister, equivalent to a sergeant. There are small holes on the left breast pocket and just above from a badge and ribbon bar being pinned on. The interior is unlined and there is a small bandage pocket on the lower right side. There is a tailor tag but this has been collector applied. The tunic is a size medium. Overall good condition!
