WWII German Army Medical NCO Waffenrock-This is for medical personnel with the rank of unteroffizier, or sergeant. This is a private purchase example that is produced in field grey wool that is of a very good quality. There is minor wear and discoloration plus a few spots of very light tracking. This has an eight button closure and all buttons are silver finished pebbled metal. There is blue medical piping at each closure seam edge, around the French cuffs, at the tail and at the front and lower edges of the dark green badge cloth collar. There are period added strips of NCO tresse at the front of the collar as well. The collar tabs and cuff tabs are silver NCO tresse over blue medical badge cloth. The sew in shoulder boards are dark green badge cloth with NCO tresse around all but the very end. There is blue piping and chain stitched is the number 25. These are period reapplied (from a promotion) and there are no buttons, they are sewn on instead. The breast eagle is bright silver bullion over green wool. The interior is fully lined in grey rayon that is in fine condition. There is a vertical pocket on the left side and another in the tail. This is a size medium. Good condition!
