WWII US Service Tunic for 4th Service Command Staff Sergeant-This is produced in olive drab wool that has some discoloration and wear. It is a bit stiff, probably from bad storage. There are a few small areas of tracking as well. There are four pockets with straight flaps and there is a four button closure. All buttons are gilt finished metal with the army insignia. The left sleeve has the unit patch for the 4th Service command. Each sleeve has staff sergeant rank insignia. Just above the right pocket is the Honorably Discharged Veterans insignia, aka The Ruptured Duck 😊 Shameless plug. The left sleeve has four stripes indicating 2 years of duty over seas. There is also a service stripe indicating 3 years of active duty service in the US Army. The interior is partially lined in tan cotton. There is a name hand written onto the upper liner, Chunz, followed by the date 41. His laundry number is written twice, C0094 as well. This is a size medium. Good condition!
