US WWI Dough Boy Helmet for 3rd Division-This example has a hand painted 3rd Infantry Division motto at the front. The helmet has an even patina over its finish, which does have some wear. The interior features an ersatz leather liner in black which is a bit loosely affixed to the shell. The dome pad remains but the chinstrap is missing. Scarcely found!
