1926-1936 Weimar Tinnie-This is a very special tinnie. This tinnie is for the NSDAP’s 10th Anniversary of the Party in Weimar. This is a large tinnie. It measures 50mm in diameter. It is made of bronzed stamped steel. It has exceptional details and tone. The badge is very handsome, with lots of detail including a depiction of a Deutschland Erwache Standarte for the city of Thüringen in the center, complete with eagle. This has the date 1926 on one side and 1936 on the other. Around the outer perimeter of the badge is the inscription “10.Jahrige Wiederkehr des Reichsparteitages Weimar” indicating this was to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Party Days there. At the bottom of the badge are the initials “JW”. The reverse has the maker’s name and location, but it is slightly difficult to make out. There is a large, horizontally mounted brass needle pin that functions perfectly. A handsome and desirable badge in excellent condition!
