2000 Kilometer Durch Deutschland Tinnie-This badge commemorates a 1933 Nationalsozialistisches Kraftfahrkorps (NSKK) 2000 Kilometer Durch Deutschland. The 2000 kilometer through Germany is a rally that was first launched in 1933. Nearly 2000 cars drove nonstop from Baden-Baden for 2000 km through Munich, Saxony, Berlin, Kologne, back to Baden-Baden. The winner of the first rally was an Opel, it took 26 hours and 23 minutes to complete the loop with an average speed of 79 km/h. This same Oldtimer Rally is still held on an annual basis in Germany today. This tinnie is made out of stamped brass. It is an oval shape and features several German cities on a map above a wreathed coat of arms with the initials “A u D” (ADAC - Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club). This is surrounded by the script which reads “2000 Kilometer Durch Heutschland” and below an NSKK eagle emblem. This tinnie has excellent tone and detailing. The horizontal pin functions as it should. In near excellent condition.
