DLV/NSFK Kepi, Named-This is an issue quality example in choice condition. The blue grey wool body is very soft and clean. The top panel as well as the scallop are piped in yellow. Each side has a pair of enameled ventilation grommets. It has a small bill that is also produced in blue grey wool. The eagle is nickel silver over tombak with most of the finish intact and minor toning. There is a single button at the front, silver finished pebbled metal. There is a black patent leather chinstrap that is in fine condition. The interior is fully lined in grey blue cotton that is excellent. There is a name tag inside that reads “Hans Beitel, Segelfliegersturm D.L.V Lübeck”. The sweatband is brown ersatz leather and in fine condition, remaining very soft and supple with one small hole and a missing tie at the back. The kepi is size stamped 55. Choice!
