First Model SA/SS Standard Bearer’s Gorget- This is a very sound example in uncleaned/untouched condition. The nickel-plated coronet shaped plate has some light discoloration. The roundel and starburst in the center have a beautiful patina. These were used by both the SA and the SS flag bearers early on. The reverse is missing the felt covering. The center boss is unmarked. The boss on the right-hand side has been removed. There may be a name written on the reverse, but this is hard to make out. The chain is missing from this example.
