German Early Pre-WWII Army NCO Sword by WKC-This is actually a very cool looking sword. This sword measures 33 ½ inches (85.09cm) in total with a blade that measures approx. 27 inches (68.58cm) in length. The nickel hilt is plain but in excellent condition throughout as is the handle. There is only the slightest finish loss to the inside of the guard and to the lowest fitting on the handle. I would say the finish is a strong 95% intact. The finish is a matte silver color. The black bakelite handle is excellent as are the twisted brass wire grip wrap. The scabbard paint is original to the piece and rates a solid 95%. Please note that the scabbard is a loose fit to the blade. The blade is in excellent condition. This has an early WKC logo on the blade under the crossguard. Bargain priced; Overall VG!
