German Model 1938 Luftschutz Helmet-This is the three-piece steel, beaded version of this type. The smooth blue finish remains 70% intact. The Luftschutz decal on the front check in at 75%. Each side of this helmet has a pair of salt and pepper shaker style ventilation holes. The interior is very clean. There is a light brown leather, three-pad liner with a black leather liner band. There is a label indicating the size (Kopfweite 54) and hand painted script that indicates maximum retail price (Höchstpreis RM 8.-) to go with the standard Luftschutz patent script. The included black leather chinstrap is in fine condition overall. This is a good example overall!
