German NSKK /SA Buckle-An example of an early two piece constructed brass buckle with separately attached silver roundel, worn by the NSKK (National Socialist Motor Corps) or the SA. This example has a plain field. There is discoloration to the edges of the brass buckle, so please be sure to look closely at the photos. There is a stamped motif of an eagle with outstretched wings on a silver rondel. This has the mobile swastika (sunwheel) in the center. The finish on the silver rondel has moderate wear, it retains 90% of the silver wash. The silver has toned in the lowest details. The details are very nice, especially the high points of the eagle, and the wreath. Usually these are the first to show wear. The reverse has a half-moon shaped catch and nickel-plated steel roll bar and prongs. Overall, in very good condition.
