German WW2 Fire Brigade 2nd Class w/Ribbon-This was awarded to both active and volunteer firefighters as well as fire administrators for 25 years of service. It could also be worn on a medal bar on the left breast. It is approx. 4cm cross, with a center motif of a black swastika on a white field circled in black. Projecting from the center and along the arms of the cross are red flames on a white field. Between the arms of the cross are the words “Für Verdienste im Feuerlöschwesen” “For Merit in the Fire Brigade Organization”. The finish is nickel silver with some wear to the reverse. This also has a full-length section of the original white/red/white/red/white ribbon. This is in condition and the real deal!
