German WWI 1914 Iron Cross 1st Class-This is a beautiful vaulted example of an early Iron Cross. The obverse of this badge is excellent. The black finish on the iron core is intact. The frame, and silver on the reverse has a nice tone but please look at the photos because it looks as though someone has tried to solder something to the reverse. Unfortunately, this example has lost its pin along the way. This would make a nice display piece, but it is in “as found” condition, and it is priced based on condition.
