German WWI 1914 Iron Cross 1^st Class by KO-This early example of an iron cross 1^st class retains 85% of its original black finish on the iron core. The silver is nicely toned. The reverse of this badge is marked KO for the Königliches Münzamt Orden, or Royal mint in Berlin. The hinge, pin and catch setup function as intended. This badge is in very good condition.
