German WWI Postcard of General Max von Gallwitz-Max von Gallwitz German general from Breslau, Silesia, who served with distinction during World War I on both the Eastern and Western Fronts. This photograph is of him on July 13, 1915. The postcard is nicely marked on both the front and the back. There is a great imperial eagle on the reverse. There is a very tiny note from Emma on the reverse, and a nice green postage stamp with ca cancellation mark. This postcard measures 5 ½ inches (13.97cm) long and 4 ½ inches (11.43cm) wide. In very good condition. A nice early offering.
